Chicken Adobo

Ingredients:
1 kilo    dressed chicken (cut into about 3”~4” pieces)
¼ cup    soy sauce
½ cup white vinegar
1 cup     water
5 cloves garlic (chopped)
1 tablespoon blackpepper (peppercorn)
1 piece    bay leaf (laurel)
½ cup tablespoon cup cooking oil
1 tsp sugar

Cooking Instruction:
 1. In a pan, put enough oil and fry chicken to about golden brown.
2. On same pan, remove the oil and put back the chicken.
3. Add soy sauce, vinegar, water, garlic and black pepper. Put into boiling. Reduce heat and simmer until the liquid almost half.
4. Add sugar and stir. (Sugar neutralize the strong flavor of vinegar and soy sauce)
5. Serve hot.
